Product Performance

Add adhesive, magnetic property is lower than sintered NdFeB magnet: bonded ndFeb magnet is used to bond the magnetic powder into a large magnet, its density is generally only 80% in theory. And sintered NdFeB magnet after a complex process of high temperature heating, so in magnetism, bonded NdFeB magnet is weaker than sintered NdFeB magnet.

The product has high precision and large morphological freedom: sintered NdFeB magnet is produced by powder sintering method. Generally, it can only produce blank after sintering, and then it can become a magnet of various shapes after mechanical processing (such as wire cutting, slicing, grinding, etc.). Compared with sintered NdFeB magnet, the production process of bonded NdFeB  magnet is more simple, without secondary processing, and its products have high dimensional accuracy and no deformation. At the same time, the shape of the freedom is large, can be manufactured according to the actual needs of various shapes of products, such as strip, sheet, tubular, circular or other complex shapes, easy to mass automated production and high mechanical strength of products.

Isotropic magnet, easy to magnetize in any direction: bonded NdFeB magnet is isotropic magnet, magnetic in all directions are the same, so it is convenient to make multi-pole and even countless pole of the overall magnet, which is usually difficult to achieve for sintered magnets.

Product Application

The magnetic properties of bonded NdFeB magnets are not as good as sintered NdFeB magnets, but they are widely used in all kinds of miniature motors and sensor systems because of their convenient manufacturing of multi-stage magnetized ring magnets, excellent performance consistency and uniformity, and easy to be integrated with other metal or plastic parts. The specific uses of bonded NdFeB magnet can be divided into:

Digital products: hard disk drive magnets (HDDS) - this is currently bonded NdFeB magnet largest application field Office OA products: printer drive motor, scanner motor, copier synchronous motor (STP), laser printer magnetic roll, etc

Motor and magnetic sensor products for automobile: including EPS power steering sensor magnet, wiper motor, window motor, seat regulator motor, etc

Other kinds of industrial and household motor: mainly including all kinds of servo motor, motor for power tools, air conditioning refrigeration motor, etc

Due to the great difference in magnetic properties and forming, the intersection of bonded NdFeB magnet and sintered NdFeB magnet is not large. Bonded NdFeB magnet is mainly used in fields such as hard disk drive spindle motor and micro special motor with small power, while sintered NdFeB magnet is more used in fields such as drive motor with large power.
